# 2.6.1 Solid?

At this point is everyone feeling good about updating a site to 2.6.1 or are there some things still be wrestled with? I have a large site feeding mautic and would rather not be on the bleeding edge.

We are still recommending most of our clients to stay on 2.5.1.  
To the Mautic team’s credit, 2.6.1 was released quickly bringing some bug fixes such as fixing a problem with email sending with Amazon SES in 2.6.0. However, there are still some reports of getting 500 errors on certain pages in the dashboard and other abnormalities with 2.6.1.

v2.6.1 is awesome. No bugs from my instance.

thanks autoize & arjon. Anybody else? Stick with 2.5.1 or upgrade?

I would have to recommend staying with 2.5.1. 2.6 brought with it more errors that it resolved, and 2.6.1 only fixed about half of them.

I have more that 20 Mautic running 2.6.1 without any problem.
