# 500 error saving contact in GUI

Hi Team,

I’m receiving a 500 error saving a contact via the GUI…

I’ve created a quick screen share to demonstrate the issue I’m facing.

Looking forward to some insight into this issue.

**Your software**  
My Mautic version is: 4.4.6  
My PHP version is: 7.4.33  
My Database type and version is: mySQL Ver 8.0.32

**Your problem**  
My problem is: Error saving contact when swapping tags

These errors are showing in the log: no errors in log

Steps I have tried to fix the problem: checked errors logs for information to support troubleshooting but there is nothing in the logs.

I’ve also opened an issue on the GitHub repository as it seemed that this may be something for the developers.
