# 500 Internal Server Error Sending email

**Your software**  
My Mautic version is: 3  
My PHP version is: 7.4.28  
My Database type and version is: 5.7.23-23

**Your problem**  
My problem is: I can’t send emails.

These errors are showing in the log: mautic.CRITICAL: Uncaught PHP Exception Swift\_RfcComplianceException: “Address set in PathHeader does not comply with addr-spec of RFC 2822.”

Steps I have tried to fix the problem: I don’t know to fix it, I’m new in Mautic.

Hi,  
What is your sending method? Are you using your own SMTP? Maybe Amazon or Sendgrid?

I suspect this to be a setting issue with your own SMTP ☹

Thank you for helping me. I reached the support host team and It seems to be some problem with the server, if not I’ll come back here.
