# Add hCaptcha Support for spam bots & privacy

hCaptcha is the preferred captcha for Cloudflare’s bot challenge pages. It’s a “privacy-first” company that would be good for the GDPR crowd, has a great user interface, actually pays the website owners money to use it, and is simple to integrate. hCaptcha also has 99.9% no-captcha friction-free solves with its incredible bot discovery engines.

My company switched over when Cloudflare announced its adoption of hCaptcha. We have seen an incredible reduction in spam and higher conversion rates with real humans.

The integration is simple and would take a developer less than 30 minutes to add it to Mautic.

It’s the best.

We are now working on a universal captcha plugin for Mautic 6. For now, the plan is to support Google recaptcha and hCaptcha.

Unfortunately, it’s not 30 minutes of work but quite a job.

We will make the plugin available for free.
