# Add possibilty to configure the default values of a new Segment

My idea is:  
I would like to add a section to the configuration to provide an option, to change the default values of “Public Segment”, “Available in Preference Center” and “Published” at creating a new segment. This is useful for me, because we don’t want that all segments are public by default.

I think these groups of people would benefit from this idea:  
Everyone where all segments should have different settings than the default.

Are you willing to work on this idea?:  
If you will accept a merge request for this configuration enhancement I would try to implement it.
