# Add tags to asset downloads

**My idea is:** Add tags to asset downloads.

**I think these groups of people would benefit from this idea** : Everyone who uses assets and who is tagging contacts based on actions.

**Why I think they would benefit from this idea** : If a contact downloads an asset, Mautic could automatically assign (or remove) a tag to (or from) the contact. This can be used in later steps (e.g. campaigns, or segmenting etc.)

(This could be expanded to adding/subtracting points and moving contacts between stages…)
