# Add url option to EMbedded options

My idea is:

I think these groups of people would benefit from this idea:  
An Eloqua user has asked me if it was possible to add the uRL to the embed options. They now have to manually fetch the url out of the IFrame thing or find it in a different menu.

Why I think they would benefit from this idea:  
It’s super easy to just add the url with a copy to clipboard button.

Are you willing to work on this idea?  
yes, check the github repo (added it there already, altho it is a patch, it can be done more thoroughly I think).

What skills and resources do you need to explore this further?  
Approval if this is something we like in Mautic core.

I think this should be a fairly easy thing to implement, but I’m not fully sure why you’d want to grab the URL, other than to use the preview feature to check the form looks ok, which already allows you to grab the URL. Here’s how it looks in the UI currently:

For example, with this form the preview URL is [https://mautic7demo.ddev.site/s/forms/preview/11](https://mautic7demo.ddev.site/s/forms/preview/11).

Could you maybe explain further what the full URL gives you over and above the preview URL?

In a pardot migration the URL needs to be pasted into a CMS that automatically wraps it in a Iframe.  
And now they need to work around this a bit. fiddle the url out of it, but uit autoselects. But in the mean time I heard the url will be shown here in later versions of Mautic (right?)
