# Anonymous visitors not always tracked, only sometimes. Where to start research?

**Your software**  
My Mautic version is: v3.3.1  
My PHP version is: 7.4  
My Database type and version is: MySQL

**Your problem**  
My problem is:

I see “anonymous” visitors, but only a fraction of the actual site visitors. It looks like only sometimes a tracking is successful. So it works, but it is not stable.

What is the first place to look? I am using the Javascript tracking code. When I use a form, it works fine. The problem is the new unknown visitors that are not being recorded.

These errors are showing in the log:

None

Steps I have tried to fix the problem:

Enable/disable CORS. Check logs. Clear cache.

Hello Rolf!  
If you think they are ‘sometimes’ not tracked, you need check the sourcecode of those sites, which are not tracked and see if mtc.js are in there.
