# Anyone managed to get pre-populate form to work??

Did anyone manage (in version 1.4.1) to get the feature to work that  
  
pre-populates form fields with available data such as the contact’s email address?  
  
  
  
If I follow the description at the bottom of this page here:

it doesn’t work.  
  
  
  
I’m seeing that @vln104 created something great here:  
  
[https://github.com/mautic/mautic/pull/1363](https://github.com/mautic/mautic/pull/1363)  
  
That’s would take the hassle out and allow to pre-populate form fields with a click on a switch.  
  
But apparently that feature won’t be added until version 2.1  
  
  
  
So, I’m wondering how can I get it to work now?
