# Apache - Why should I disable PHP module?

Hi, I am installing Mautic 5.0.3 on Debian 11, which has already some sites on Apache and MariaDB. Php 7.4 is installed and php7.4 module is enabled and necessary for these sites to work (they are built with Joomla).

To avoid breaking these sites, I cannot disable php7.4 module.

Are there any workarounds for this scenario?

1. install on a different server
2. use mautic in docker and set just reverse proxy on apache
