# API: How to check if a contact is already in a campaign?

I would like to use the REST API to check if a certain contact has already been added to a specific campaign. I know how to get all contacts of a campaign, but this would be too much for our use-case. Is there an easier way to get just the info if one contact I know has already been added to the campaign, without retrieving all contacts and checking the results?
