# API Timeouts

**Your software**  
My Mautic version is: 4.4.4  
My PHP version is: 7.4  
My Database type and version is: MariaDB

**Your problem**  
My problem is:  
When sending a high volume of API calls to Mautic API we are seeing a high timeout. I am wondering if anyone here has experience with this.  
We have tried on many different server variants up to 8 dedicated CPUS 64GB Ram and still seeing poor performance and slow response times.

Is the bottleneck Mautic?  
Is it the server resource allocation?  
The database?

Big question I know but maybe someone has some sort of experience and can she some light.
