# Apply Button Spinning

**Your software**  
My Mautic version is: 3.0.2  
My PHP version is: 7.3.20

**Your problem**  
My problem is: The Apply button is spinning endlessly when creating an e-mail. Eventually, one has to click Close Builder with nothing be saved.

These errors are showing in the log:

Steps I have tried to fix the problem: None

Hi, do you get the same errorlog entries as above? Or you have a spinning ‘Apply’ ?  
Some causes with spinning Apply:

- You’ve been editing the newsletter too long, and your session ended
- Wordfence is blocking Mautic ajax functions, especially saving your work

Wordfence was the culprit. I have installed Mautic in a subfolder with WordPress in the main folder. I disabled Wordfence, then created an E-mail in Mautic and it worked. I’m so delighted.

Unfortunately we couldn’t solve this problem yet. We created an issue: [https://github.com/mautic/mautic/issues/9128](https://github.com/mautic/mautic/issues/9128)

It seems to be a problem of mautic 3. Before everything worked fine, now the spinning button. I already tested it with an older mail code, we already saved and send before the update, and now even this code can’t be saved…

mautic dont send error, just when i open email builder the sistem dont run , is a bug i guess, i try reinstall but is the same problem .

I had the same problem, and when I ran `cache:clear` in console, it showed me an error regarding permissions in the twig app directory. I found the folder that was generating the error, and fixed the permission so that the apache user can edit the folder and files. That resolved the issue.

If you don’t get an error when clearing cache then it’s likely a different problem.
