# AWS Issue with Aurora Serverless

**Your software**  
My Mautic version is: 3.1  
My PHP version is: 7.2  
My Database type and version is: MySQL 5.7.31 (local) MySQL 5.6.10 (AWS Aurora Serverless)

**Your problem**  
Mautic install with 65,000 contacts. We’ve been having trouble with loading various menu items, the system with “hang” when trying to open an email for example. We moved the database off of AWS Aurora Serverless MySQL to a localhost install of MySQL and all the problems disappeared.

Does anyone have experience running with the serverless setup or probably just Amazon RDS instance? We run Aurora for all our WP installs with no trouble so it seems I’m missing something in the setup somewhere.
