# Best type for radio group on form

I am trying to determine what the type of the lead field should be if I am going to use a radio group on a form? Should it be just a text field or should it be something else? I tried a select entry field type, but not sure if that will work with a radio group.

This is good question. I haven’t realized there is the radio button field missing in the Lead Field types until now. Please create a new feature request to create a radio field in the lead fields:

I think your best chance is to use the select box field for now. It actually works the same way.
