# \<br\> after adding an image

Hi,  
  
  
  
I have noticed Mautic automatically adds   
 tag after an image tag. There is no   
 tag present in the theme html template but after adding an image slot (or replacing an image placeholder with a real image) the   
 tag is added.  
  
  
  
Can that be avoided?

I have created a custom theme that has an image slot (with image placeholder). When I replace an image using landing page builder, a   
 tag is automatically added after the ![]() tag. That   
 tag creates a blank space after the image.

The same happens when I use one of the default themes.
