# Calculated fields in reports are not working correctly

**Your problem**
My problem is:
There are 2 mautic installations
v5.1.1 and v4.4.10
In v5.1.1 an email report was created with the following columns:
Calculated columns are counted correctly for trigger emails sent from campaigns
But if i look at segment email’s
they are many times larger than the actual values - it is not clear what is counted.
Now the funniest thing is that when I tried to customize the same report on v4.4.10 I got the opposite situation. 🤣
By the way, why don’t you just output the sum of the total table at the bottom, even without calculated fields. The Totals row is always there, even when there are no calculated fields.
Where can I find the report settings? How can I customize them or change the logic of operation?

Hi, you can click on the DATA tab when you EDIT a report. Your problem is, that you are grouping wrong in the example.
Once you share the content under the DATA tab, I’ll be able to help you.

And why do you need a grouping to calculate the fields?

What is your report timeframe?
That is visible here:
Your report will contain only contacts added during this timeframe.
Not events happened (sends) during this timeframe, but contacts added to Mautic.

I’m building a report on sent letters? Without a group, the calculated fields do not appear (
The values of the calculated more than the same are more than the same, but not calculated.
