# Campaign Emails Fail

I can test my smtp settings with success, and even send a manual email to a contact, but for the life of me I cannot initiate my drip campaign to send emails to those who submit my campaign form. The contact information is added, but the email campaign does not initiate.

i think im facing the same issue too… sending segment emails are totally fine though. Im on 2.0.1

My guess is that it has something to do with the cron jobs. If you’ve upgraded from Mautic 1.x.x, the cron jobs were renamed in Mautic 2.x.x. There is a pinned topic in this forum about it or find it in the documentation.

Turns out it was because I messed up my database. So I deleted the db and installed a new one and it works again. Campaign emails are sending again.

I am trying to import my emails to Mautic through my database. Its quicker than doing them one by one. But when I edit the emails table it breaks the ability to send campaign emails in Mautic.
