# Campaign will not email segments

Hi,  
  
  
  
We’re using the free Mautic hosted version and we’ve setup 12 test contacts in a segment.  
  
We can send an example email via: **Channels \> Email \> Send Example email**

However, the campaign does not run at the time it’s set to and thus campaign emails are never sent.  
  
We’ve double checked our configuration and are at a loss to figure this out.

Note that this is not the self-hosted version and is the free [mautic.net](http://mautic.net) provided host and it’s probably not the cron job.  
  
Any help is appreciated.
