# Can we change the color of Mautic?

My Mautic version is: v4.3.1  
My PHP version is: 7.4

My problem is:

I created a new theme from the Mauve theme of mautic, I manage to install it without problem but when I select this theme by default in the configuration no change in the css of mautic is made, even after a clear cache.

Can a mautic theme change the color of mautic?

And if so, what do I need to do to get it taken into account?

I agree with Joey on this. Note that you have to disable your .htaccess file when you’re using it (i just rename mine to something like .htaccess\_old) then rename it back after you’re done. Also - please contribute. Aside from the good karma, you will get a nice email thanking you as well!

Hi,  
I know that this tool can change theme and logo and mautic copy right text in the footer. this is technically possible. However, is this legally possible ?

I believe it is, as long as you make it clear project is based on Mautic
