# Cannot export large segment of 90,000 contacts

**Your software**
My Mautic version is: 4.4.1
My PHP version is: 8.0
**Your problem**
I am trying to export a segment of 90,000 contacts. Nothing happens when I go to the segment and select export to csv or Excel.
I was however able to export a smaller segment of say 150 emails.
Which settings do I need to change to allow the export of the large 90k segment?
Is there another way to export segments if this fails?

I figured it out myself. Instead of exporting the segment, I had to create a report of said segment and then I was able to export that report.
