# Cannot initiate campaign

Hello!
For some reason I cannot send emails through campaigns. I use SendGrid and the mails sent through list email function work well. Also, when clicking on an individual lead and send email, the mail goes through.
But when adding a lead to list attached to a campaign, the first initiation mail does not go out. Campaign overview shows the leads added but “Sent email statuses” just says “1x no data”.
What could be the problem?

Hi,
May be your cron job (mautic:campaigns:trigger) didn’t complete sucessfully? I would manually run the command to see if there’s any errors in the output and also check the log file.
