# Cannot login

**Your software** Mautic 4.4.9  
_My PHP version is_ :8.0.29  
_My MySQL/MariaDB version is_ (delete as applicable): MySQL version 8.0.33

**Updating/Installing Errors**  
_I am_ (delete as applicable): Installing  
_Upgrading/installing via_ (delete as applicable) : Web / Command Line

**Your problem**  
_My problem is_ :cannot login using username:admin password:mautic

_Steps I have tried to fix the problem_ :

You probably set password to something else. If this is a new install, then just trsy to reinstall the whole thing. I think its the easiest way to get around the issue.

If you use automated install via ddev, the creds are: admin, mautic. If you do not use the script, you have to set the password for yourself.
