# Category filter is not properly working

**Your software**  
My Mautic version is: 7.0.0-dev  
My PHP version is: PHP Version 8.4.16  
My Database type and version is: 10.11.15-MariaDB

**Your problem**  
My problem is: In Contact segments I am adding a quick filter. I am selecting a category. The filter added is for example _category:10_. No Results found. If i am adding manually the filter using not the ID but the name _category:b2cusers_, results are found. I can see the segments tagged with that category.

These errors are showing in the log: No error logs found.

Steps I have tried to fix the problem: Adding the filter manually changing the category ID by its name. This is not a fix bug but a workaround.

Is this a detected bug? Can i do anything from our side?
