# Clear upgrade from 1.2.4 to 2.2

Hi,  
  
  
  
I have an older 1.2.4 installation and want to upgrade to newest installation. I got no upgrade notice. Perhaps it would be better to install Mautic complete new. But how can I copy the leads? What will happen with the “do not contact” if I export and import the leads?

No.

I posted this problem long ago ([https://www.mautic.org/community/index.php/2904-no-message-for-update-1-3/p1#p8673](https://www.mautic.org/community/index.php/2904-no-message-for-update-1-3/p1#p8673)). But nothing helps. Finally I didn’t upgrade because of to less time. But now I have to reactivate Mautic.
