# Config settings for email not stored (inclusing Amazon SES SMTP and API and "Other SMTP")

Mautic 3.1  
PHP PHP Version 7.2.34

I try to change the Email settings to Amazon SES API and found out that all changes are not stored. I can do a succesful test with Amazon SES but after apply the settings change back to what the where before.

It could be that the user and password that where stored under the option “other SMTP” overwrite the Amazon SES settings, but I can’t change these settings either. I did check if config/local.php is writable and it is.

Found a fix:  
I changed from Chrome to Firefox and now the changes in the email-settings are stored
