# Configuration not saving

Hi1 I’m having the same problem as the guy in [this post](https://www.mautic.org/community/index.php//169-configuration-problem) but I’m currently using PHP 5.4.37 as cgi with suExec, so it’s not an permissions issue. Apache 2.4.
I also tried deleting /app/cache/prod folder and after being regenerated the problem is still there. You cannot change ANY of the settings.
But if I manually edit the file /app/config/local.php the settings are correctly reflected. It’s something on the UI not working…
Any ideas please?

Hello? Anybody? I still experience the same issue. I have to set the settings by editing local.php manually ☹
