**Your software**
My Mautic version is: 6.0
My PHP version is: 8.3.19
My Database type and version is: MySQL 8.0.41

**Your problem**
I’m trying to upgrade v5.2.2 to v6. My problem is that `console doctrine:schema:update --no-interaction --force` step fails.

These errors are showing in the log:

```auto
In ExceptionConverter.php line 117:
  An exception occurred while executing a query: SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1091 Can't DROP 'IDX_1AE3441319EB6921'; check that column/key exists
In Exception.php line 28:
  SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1091 Can't DROP 'IDX_1AE3441319EB6921'; check that column/key exists
In Connection.php line 33:
  SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1091 Can't DROP 'IDX_1AE3441319EB6921'; check that column/key exists
doctrine:schema:update [--em EM] [--complete] [--dump-sql] [-f|--force]
```

What am I supposed to do if I get this kind of error?

Updating mautic hasn’t always been a pleasant experience. I wish the updating is more robust and easy and there is a better documentation for troubleshooting.

I will try to upgrade to 6.0 soon too, and I have this error from my 5.2 installation and therefore expect that I will have it in version 6 too.

Did you resolve this issue?

No, I haven’t. I’m postponing my upgrade. I’ve experienced similar problems in my previous upgrades and don’t want to repeat what I had to go through. I did my best finding a solution in this forum, GitHub, and googling, but I haven’t found one yet. Hope you can figure out and provide one!
