# Contact Preference Center (Pause issue)

**Your software**  
My Mautic version is:4.2.0  
My PHP version is: 7.4.28  
My Database type and version is: 5.7.32-35-log - pdo\_mysql

**Your problem**  
My problem is:  
In the Contact Preference Center of contact, you have the option to pause a channel from a certain date range but when testing I set my contact to be paused from 2022-03-27 to 2022-4-19 so they shouldn’t receive an email between them dates, but I added the contact to a segment and my campaign that uses that segment sent an email to the contact. The pause is getting ignored completely

These errors are showing in the log:  
None in the logs

Steps I have tried to fix the problem:

Tried setting the frequency boxes but still doesn’t work

This was done from Channels -\> Emails. I believe this may also be an issue for the "Do not send me more than" and the "Categories" are being ignored.
