# creating a form for wordpress for new subscribers

At the bottom of my Wordpress Blog I have a text box for people who want to join the PostSecret mailing list and get news. Now that I have quite Constant Contact and am now on Mautic, how can I create something that does the same thing? First-timer here. Thanks.

Hi Frank - you can create a form in Mautic (under **Components \> Forms** , and then embed that form on your blog (replacing the Constant Contact form).

For a newsletter, a ‘standalone’ form might work well. Under the ‘actions’ tab when editing your form, you can have people automatically added to a segment (you’ll need to create that in advance).

For help styling your form, here’s an [article + video tutorial](https://innotiom.com/custom-mautic-form-styles/) I made that might help.
