# Customize slot?

Hello, I have the version of mautic 4.2.1 and the customize slot option does not appear, making it “more difficult to write and format the text”

and I see in videos un Youtube people with this … Could you please tell me how to activate that option?

Did you mean, that you can’t customize the text in the grapesjs editor?

Hello @paolosn,

The screenshot is from the old e-mail builder.  
To see it you have to deactivate the “GrapeJS Builder” plugin and create a new e-mail.

Nevertheless I advise you not to use it because it is not maintained anymore.

Hi, I also notice the web builder has change, the problem is old tutorials add form or firtsname by using bracket{form} , how to do this in grapeJs builder?
