# Database setup

Unable to go past database setup in mautic. i get the following error.

“…Specified key was too long; max key length is 767 bytes”  
Using godaddy shared hosting package.  
Can someone please tell me whats going on?

UPDATE: I am unable to post the full error message as the form thinks its some sort of SQL injection, however if anyone has been met with this type of error please shed some light on this.

Hello contact Godaddy support and ask for help they are known for restricting a lot of resources.
