# Dynamic content button missing in editor?

Hi - I set up an email with defined dynamic content. However - in the mail editor, the icon as displayed at minute 1:00 in this video is missing.

Does it have any prerequisit? I run version 2.5.1 of Mautic.

Press CTRL + SPACEBAR in code editor and select {dynamiccontent=xxx} from drop down.

That seems not to work in the slot code editor for an email with dynamic content.

Hi there!

I have this problem too. I tried typing an { and then use the autocomplete feature, fail. Use the “Insert Token” dropdown (the better alternative to the dropdown in the video), fail. Tried the CTRL+SPACE in the code editor, fail.

Looking around the forum I only found unresolved posts. Is there anything saying that this feature is not working propperly?
