# Dynamic Filters VS Manual Search

Currently in order to search different contact fields you just have the search bar at your disposal. This works fine for simple name/company searches, however it is a very poor experience for filtration purposes.  
  
  
  
Currently to filter fields (segments, stages, tags, etc), you have to do it manually! - There are over a dozen filtration options (which you show on the info tooltip) however adding them manually 1 by 1 is a pain!! - Even the most basic CRMs have an advanced filtration option which you can filter depending on the contact’s fields simply by select/unselect.

If I understand you corretly, you would like to have some kind of user- or pre-defined filter options which can be saved and applied on demand. Correct?

I created a feature request some time ago to accomplish this: [https://github.com/mautic/mautic/issues/491](https://github.com/mautic/mautic/issues/491)

Unfortunately this feature request was closed without any comment. You might want to try to reopen it or create another feature request for this.
