# Email does not have a Send function

**Your software**  
My Mautic version is: 4.4.1  
My PHP version is: 110.0 (build 17)  
My Database type and version is: MySQL Version 5.7.44

**Your problem**  
My problem is:  
In the Email section, I can’t find the Send Email function. There is only a “Send Example” function and I managed to send a test email. But how do I send an email to a Segment?

These errors are showing in the log:  
I’m not sure what is this as I’m non technical.

Steps I have tried to fix the problem:  
search the internet for 3 hours reading and watching videos but couldn’t find anything relevant. In those videos I watched, there is a field for me to add a “Segment” in the email set up and the is a “Send” function but for me, these two are missing.

By the way, i have successfully set up the required cron jobs. I also managed to create a segment successfully.

Hi, the only reason why this would happen is a wrong installation.  
A file is changed for you probably.
