# Email Link to Ip Link

We want to be able to merge Anonymous Ip to a lead once they click from and email link.  
  
  
  
Right now we have leads coming in from api then we send an email using campaign and the ip should get assign to the leads but it’s not, as we want the web traffic to show under lead.

I think it’s resolved I am using the hosted version and I added the lead to a campaign and it started tracking the web page traffic, But it did not work when I just sent an email.

Is there some kind of time lag to check leads and ips?

Could you rephrase when it works and when it doesn’t work? Also could you be more clear where do you host your Mautic? Is it self hosted or hosted by another provider like [mautic.com](http://mautic.com)? If so, please, contact that provider via their support channels.
