Hi guys, when I send emails from Mautic they get filtered as spams on the recipient side. Any idea why this is the case? And also if I send this email to my internal email account meaning on my domain which is separate from my Mautic domain/server I do not receive these emails. I set a bounce email account in case they bounce but nothing is in this mails box. Any Idea? ---

Hello, I’ve followed the instructions and added these records to the domain name (couple of months ago). My emails are still flagged as spam in some cases. What should I do next? I’m using hosted (paid) version with default Mautic mail servers. Should I try and swap to another solution or is there anything else you guys would recommend? ---

The emails I send are still being marked as spam or gmail flags it as a phishing email. Please let me know what I can do to solve this problem? ---

It could be the actual contents of your email is being considered spam. You could try pasting your email here for an indication and see what it says (remember to include the headers). It should also give you some breakdown to the spam score as well. The API uses SpamAssassin which is a popular spam filter. [http://spamcheck.postmarkapp.com/](http://spamcheck.postmarkapp.com/) ---

Harukim, which feature are you talking about? The spam checker is an external service found on the web, you just copy your email to it to get the spam score ---

@Francesco , sort out your MX, SPIF, and DKIM ([mail-tester.com](http://mail-tester.com)). Confirm that your content is non-spammy (just send a nice basic test email) Confirm that the IP address you are sending from has not been used in the past to send dodgy emails from. Make sure your sending rates are fairly low to start (it is called ‘warming up’ an IP address). Cheers Jo ---

I’d highly recommend registering a free account at [senderscore.org](http://senderscore.org) and checking both your sending domain and the IP of your mail server (which should be listed when you look up your domain). It could be that you inherited a “dirty” IP that someone did namespace mining on or sent spam from in the recent past. Checking your domain will also show you what other mail servers are delivering mail for your domain, whether legitimately or illegitimately. To stop those you need to go one step further than SPF and DKIM and enable DMARC. ---
