# Email settings / IMAP error

Can anyone let me know the effects of having this error in the Monitored Inbox Settings?
The PHP IMAP extension is required in order to enable monitored email features.
I have checked my php7 installation and both the imap and intl are enabled not sure why this error is still there, however I also do not know what it means when this error exists.
any help is appreciated.

restart the server and try again.

Thank-you for the suggestion.
I have shutdown and restarted the server… no change in the error message.
Any other ideas?
