# Error when creating a text message in a campaign

Hello,

I would like to test the version of SMS messages/text messages via Twilio.

So I created a Twilio account and activated the plugin in Mautic.

Now when I select an action “Send text message” in the campaign builder I get a 500 internal server error.

I don’t see any error messages about this in the logs.

What could be causing this and how can I correct it?

Hi there,

Have you correctly set up your Twilio integration? You now have to use a messaging ID rather than the telephone number in the settings, but the docs haven’t yet been updated.

Perhaps you can share your config (please obscure any sensitive info first).

Thanks for your reply. After clearing the cache and reset file/folder-permissions the error in the campaign-builder is gone so I can test it.

Unfortunately, I continue to have problems sending text messages. I have created my own post about this at [Problem sending text messages/SMS](https://forum.mautic.org/t/problem-sending-text-messages-sms/30441).

Attached is the information about the configuration:

But sending a text message/sms via a campaign now worked. Only sending a segment message didn’t work. But with that I can continue testing and working.
