# Experience with custom objects?

Hello,
I want to ask if anyone has experience with the custom objects plugin/extension and if you can recommend the usage of the plugin.
Next to this I want to ask if you expect that the plugin fits our use case/requirements:
- We want to store something like an application as 1:n (important: not n:m) relation for contacts. An application has an date and a job title.
- So it’s possible to store more applications for one contact. We have to store this via the api. I’m not sure if this is possible because I found the issue [Custom Objects - how to use API with a custom object type "Relationship"](https://forum.mautic.org/t/custom-objects-how-to-use-api-with-a-custom-object-type-relationship/25417).
- We want to create kind of a follow up campaign to send an email 3 days after the application date. Hi @iparker, I looked at it for a similar use case as you are describing. It works very well. Only has some issues from the UX point of view. Did not look at the campaign and API side of things.
In addition, we need to add it to forms. This feature will only become available with Mautic 5.
