# Export contacts from console

Hello,

i need to generate a daily file with the status (values of certain fields) of contacts and I was wondering if there is a way to **export all contacts from a segment via console.**

Could be something like:  
php bin/console mautic:export --segmentId [segmentId] --filepath [filepath] --limit 500

Do you know if there is any workaround to do this?
