# Exporting large contact lists from FluentCRM to import into Mautic takes too long

Hi everyone,

We’re in the process of migrating a large contact database from **FluentCRM to Mautic** , but we’re facing a major challenge with export and import times.

Here’s our setup:

- Server: 4-core, 8 GB RAM

- PHP memory limit: 7168 MB

- PHP-FPM: dynamic mode, 51 max\_children

- Database: MariaDB

- FluentCRM plugin in WordPress used for export

- Mautic self-hosted (latest version) used for import

When we export contacts from FluentCRM (per tag, ~100 K contacts each), the process is extremely slow — sometimes stuck for hours and doesn’t complete even after a full day.  
We plan to import these CSVs into Mautic, but this delay is blocking our migration.

Can anyone suggest:

1. A faster or more reliable way to import large contact lists into Mautic?

2. Whether there’s a recommended method or CLI command for large-scale imports (to avoid web timeouts)?

3. Any performance tuning or bulk-import recommendations for large contact data?
