# External campaigns

For example, an email is going to be sent by the chamber of commerce on our behalf. How do we create a URL and query string that Mautic can then track so we can see hits from that mailing?

You want to use external links (links which go to 3rd party sites) in emails and track clicks? You can use remote assets for that.
