# Frequency of clearing cache

hello, may i seek an advice how often shall we clear cache?

I am currently setting it to run hourly, but i would hit problem with API whenever it runs at the exact time the cache clearing job is running. I’m just thinking to reduce the frequency to say once a day.

Any advice on the recommended frequency to clear cache?

I clear cache daily in the nighttime.  
I also do housekeeping and update Maxmind before.  
Why do you feel the need to clear hourly?

Thanks very much. I will schedule it daily. I am not exactly sure how frequent clearing cache needs to be so i just left it hourly.
