# GDPR control panel, social media and AdTech

This topic is to keep track of the feature “GDPR control panel”, originally put on the Mautic [roadmap](https://forum.mautic.org/t/mautic-roadmap-discussion/13760) by @dbhurley.

**Description**

TODO add a general description about this idea (@dbhurley)

**Features to add**

- **Double opt-in** (@sushlingo) : Each time new subscribers are being added to a segments - by themselves directly or after they clicked a “subscribe to newsletter” in any kind of webform - they should automatically receive a “request for email-address validation” mail, in which they are provided a link to validate their subscription.
