# General Description field on Channels - Specifically -\> Email Templates

We have general description fields on Campaigns and Segments but missing it on channels.

If anything this is where we would use a description field the most to store dev/client notes and reference material to working files.

In our case we would store the working supplied onedrive zip assets urls and the working file [mjml](https://mjml.io/) url as mautic tweaks it based on their own validation rules.

Should be a very easy enhancement 🙂
