# Having trouble setting custom landing page as default unsubscribe page

**Your software**
My Mautic version is: 4.4.1
My PHP version is: 7.4.30
My Database type and version is: 10.3.29-MariaDB
**Your problem**
My problem is:
Trying to create a custom unsubscribe page for all emails so it does not just show the basic text. 1) I created custom landing page. 2) Set the landing page as preference center page 3) Enabled yes for "Show contact preference settings " in config-\>email setting.
I would like the new custom unsubscribe page to be default for all emails (i’d rather not have to click set as preference for each email I send). But anyways, to test, I also did create an email and set my landing page as the “preference center page”.
Not working. This is what I get: a page showing “message preferences” “please use the form below to set your message preferences”.
Any idea?

Any one have a clue? Still stuck.
