# Help configuring Amazon SES with Mautic

Hi all! New Mautic user here, looking forward to migrating my lists from Sendy.
I’d like to configure my self-hosted Mautic installation to use Amazon SES.
What’s the recommended setting on the _How should email be handled?_ section under _Email Settings_?
I guess it should be _Queue_ but I’m not sure what values to use on the rest of the options (message limit, time limit, etc.)
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I know my sending limits. What I’d like to know is how to configure the following parameters based on the sending limits on my SES account:
- [i]Message limit for queue processing
- Time limit for queue processing
- Recovery timeout for resending failed messages
- Clear timeout for deleted failed messages[/i]

I am also working on implementing Amazon SES with Mautic. I’ll post anything I find in that process. I would appreciate anything discovered during that as well if it saves time. I haven’t worked with SES yet, so I have that to work through first.
