I used a 1-click software to install and it gave me a db and db user name I’d like to change. However, I’ve noticed that renaming these in cPanel will result in an error when you try to access the site. Is there a safe way to do this that works or do you have to install manually to name your db a certain way? ---

The database credentials are stored in app/config/local.php file. After you change them, clear the cache (delete the app/cache dir)
