# How does self-hosted Mautic compare to Mailchimp Pro for features?

I’m learning email automation and tooling for email automation.  
  
  
  
Looking at Mailchimp’s offering I can see this bit of copy for Mailchimp Pro, the more expensive tier of Mailchimp.

Now, I'm not using those features yet. But I'm just wondering: does a self-hosted instance of Mautic have those features? Or comparable features?

Now, I’m not using those features yet. But I’m just wondering: does a self-hosted instance of Mautic have those features? Or comparable features?

@Bob the comparison is very simple:  
Mautic is just a nicely polished turd, useless in a production environment in business.  
(you could also call it a broken piece of garbage if you prefer that terminology)

MailChimp will have at least all of the important functions working.  
Thus it can be used in a production environment in business.
